Ocean City is one of our favorite quick getaways! Located just three hours away from our home in Virginia, it's the perfect destination when we're in the mood to escape town but don't have much time. There are plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including indulging in all-you-can-eat crabs at Higgins, Thrasher's Boardwalk fries, sipping cocktails in the bay at Seacrets, testing our luck at the Ocean Downs Casino, and of course, enjoying the beautiful beach.

Higgins Crab House is a popular seafood restaurant located in Ocean City, Maryland. Here is some information about the restaurant:

  • Higgins Crab House is located on the west side of Coastal Highway (Route 1) in Ocean City, at 31st Street and Coastal Highway.

Thrasher's Boardwalk Fries is a popular food stand in Ocean City, Maryland, known for its French fries. The stand was founded in 1929 by J.T. Thrasher, and has since become an iconic part of the Ocean City boardwalk experience.

On one of our trips, we decided to book a stay at the Atlantic House Bed and Breakfast, and we were thrilled with our choice! Our room was immaculate, complete with a private bathroom, and we enjoyed a scrumptious cooked-to-order breakfast every morning, courtesy of the friendly owner. Moreover, the B&B was conveniently located right across from the boardwalk and the city's public transit system (which we'll discuss shortly!) making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The Atlantic House Bed and Breakfast is a historic Victorian-style bed and breakfast located in Ocean City, Maryland. Here is some information about the B&B:
